Instructions for use: Soiled coins should be cleaned in LINDNER coin cleaner (Item no. 8015) before dipping. The oxidised (tarnished) silver coins are laid separately into the dipping tray of the cleaning dip and then submerged in the fluid. Leave in the tray for 2 minutes maximum. The ideal way is to use coated coin tweezers (Item no. 2014), with which the coins can be swung in the water back and forth, until a result sets in. Extremely tarnished coins can be dipped for 3 to 5 minutes. During this time, all oxides should have dissolved. In extremely persistent cases the dipping time can be extended without hesitation. To thoroughly rinse the coins, remove the dipping tray with coin from the bottle and hold under running, lukewarm water. Then rub the coin with a soft cloth. The cleaning dip keeps all the silver coins matt, it does not create a “fool’s glow”. Use this cleaning dip exclusively for silver coins. Gold, copper, nickel and bronze coins can be bathed in the LINDNER cleaning dip specific for these coins. Every type of silver coin can be dipped without hesitation. It is recommended to clean only one coin per process, to avoid damages to the surface. Very old silver coins (antique, medieval) from excavations, can be bathed for up to 30 minutes. Drip some of the cleaning fluid onto possibly remaining dirt and rub off with a rubber sponge. Dip shortly once more, rinse under running, lukewarm water and dry. Do not let chrome sinks come in contact with this fluid! Note: soiled coins not only look unattractive but can even lessen the worth of even a well-kept coin collection. Safety precautions: Keep content out of children’s reach! Do not bring into contact with eyes, skin or mucous membranes. Rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs.
